Roles
LaunchPad is open to any student currently studying at Cardiff Met. However there are several ways you can get involved in a specific way. See all the different roles available below..
Management
We’re looking for those who love to be in charge to run the day-to-day of the society.
From looking after the money to chairing and organising meetings, you can be one of the head honchos at LaunchPad.
Writers
If you’re an aspiring journalist and want to get some reporting experience then we’d love you to write for the LaunchPad website.
You could write reviews for things like The Apprentice or business start-up books. You could also come to our events and write a blog about your experiences.
Promoters
We’re looking for folks to spread the good word of LaunchPad and help promote different events and entrepreneurship to the masses that call Cardiff Met their place of study.
If you like meeting people and can sell ice to the eskimos then you’d be perfect for this.
Fundraisers
Things work better with money, don’t they?
At LaunchPad, we want to support student projects, businesses and charities as well as having a little money left to fund LaunchPad activities going forward. Whether you like Kickstarter or cake sales, this is for you.
Business heads
If you run your own business, we’d love to have you in LaunchPad to share your expertise and your experiences as well as meet a network of people who could help you with any new ideas you have on the horizon.
Broadcasters
You can get the chance to make your own podcast or videos.
You can get the chance to interview local entrepreneurs and gain experience in production and editing.
Event Organisers
We like to do exciting things here at LaunchPad and hopefully you do too!
Events you could organise are so wide ranging. From a relaxed social to a fundraising football match or anything you can think of in-between.

If you don’t think you fit in to any of the above, it doesn’t matter.
As long as you have enthusiasm for entrepreneurship, business start-ups or just being the proactive people of the world, come along and share your passion for it with us.
