LAUNCHPAD

LaunchPad is the student society for all things entrepreneurship. That’s anything to do with starting a business or a social enterprise or being a proactive person that makes things happen in the world.

 

LaunchPad aims to do the following:

 

• Support students who have their own business or are thinking of starting their own business via peer support and activities.

• Spread the word about entrepreneurship throughout Cardiff Met and make people excited about it as we are through media and face-to-face promotion.

• Raise funds for good causes that can benefit students directly – such as fundraising for student projects/businesses and charities that affect young people.

• Give students opportunities to develop their skills and act more ‘entrepreneurial’ in every part of their life. 

• Allow students to network with other students who are interested in entrepreneurship.

LaunchPad will do this by:
 

• Organising social events and informal meetings between students interested in entrepreneurship

• Creating a podcast and a web presence that allows students to share their thoughts on anything to do with entrepreneurship to the wider University and the world.

• Organising Fundraisers to help student projects/businesses and charities
